HOT PLATES

KERONE manufacture hot plate that finds various applications in the laboratory and industrial heating and drying need. A hot plate is usually portable equipment which has self contained top plate either rectangular or circular in shape and one or more heating element. Hot plates with the aluminum surface plate offers the best temperature regularity but have poor resistance to chemical and corrosion on other hand the ceramic surfaces are the most chemically resistive but have poor temperature regularity. Hence ceramic coated surfaces on a laboratory hot plate provide the most excellent stability of temperature uniformity and corrosion resistance in hot plates. Our hot plates are having full digital controllers in built, which gives precise and easy temperature and duration control mechanism.

Hot plates are widely used for many industrial applications. These hot plates vary in size from 2 to over 300 square cm. Typical operating temperatures vary from 100 to 750°C and power requirements are usually in the 120V to 480V range. Most industrial hot plates will withstand loads more than 150 lbs Hot plates are used to heat thin films evenly by drawing the film firmly on the plate with a vacuum. These plates are widely used in the process of manufacturing semiconductors. Hot plates are widely used in the electronics industry as a method of soldering and desoldering components onto circuit boards.
